In 2023, Luke began McKenzie Farms with one simple goal: to grow the tastiest strawberries and create a place where families can gather and make lasting memories.

Luke, the farmer and Lexington native, graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Agricultural Mechanization and works with farmers across the state, helping with agricultural irrigation.

Ellerslie is a true flower lover with a passion for growing things and connecting with people — and she’s the voice you hear on social media! She also graduated from Clemson University and headed to Western North Carolina, where she worked with farmers, helping them with Ag Marketing.

Together, they make the perfect team on and off the farm. They share the same drive and passions while having different skill sets.

What started at Luke’s family farm in Leesville has grown into the iconic strawberry patch on Hwy 1, where we’re honored to continue a sweet tradition. We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community and for every family we have the privilege of meeting through the farm.
